The reason I started training is...
I wanted a new athletic challenge. I was a national equestrian competitior in the sport of three-day eventing and rode horses for 18 years prior to entering the fitness world. In the summer of 2014, I wanted to try a fitness competition after someone at a previous job said I should enter one. After my first show, I was hooked and haven’t looked back. I no longer ride horses competitively because I’ve found my true calling in fitness.

The person I most wanted to be when I started was...
Michelle Lewin. I love her natural beauty, her aesthetics and how she maintains a fit body year-round.

The person I owe the most to is...
My family and friends.

The supplements I can't live without are...
ONE PUNCH, STRONGMAN VITAMINS, Magnesium, Vitamin C and a Probiotic.

The best thing about training is...
Seeing improvements in my physique. When I see my weak areas become stronger, and when I see myself grow mentally and physically as an athlete, that is what is extremely rewarding to me about training.

Two things I would change about competitions are...
The bikini division not going last in the show program. Bikini competitors being able to walk the stage to their own music.

My ultimate goal is...
Achieving my IFBB bikini pro card in 2017. I want to inspire others on their fitness journey and show women that you can work out in the gym and build muscle while looking feminine and sexy.

Years I’ve been training...
I’ve been blessed with some good genetics, which has provided me a good base for my training. I also rode horses competitively since I was little and worked on farms as I grew up. I started consistently training in the gym starting in June 2014. Before that, all I did was ride horses.

What I enjoy most about competing is...
I love all the friendships I make through competing. All the like-minded people I meet within the industry makes competing special to me. I love being a beast in the gym year-round for that day when you get all dolled up and shine, being who you are on that stage. I also love that moment when you can have post-competition treats with friends and family as you celebrate all your hard work together.

The thing I hate most about stepping up onstage is...
I don’t hate anything about stepping onstage. I love the adrenaline rush of going onstage and showcasing all my hard work.

The pros I most look forward to being onstage with are...
Janet Layug and Courtney King.

The one thing every competing bodybuilder should know is...
Bring warm and loose clothes to change into after being tanned and drying in front of the fans. (I always get so cold after my tans).

One bodybuilding secret I discovered is...
Sleep is the most important for everything – growth, recovery and overall physical and emotional health.
